There is no question that Venice is the cradle of "Venetian Stucco". This term originated from the master plasterers of Venice who used a special technique decorating ceilings, columns and walls with stucco, creating a design which looked as if it were pure marble. The work of these plasterers from Venice, who mastered this ancient art, can still be seen throughout the city, creating an atmosphere of luxury which is as exceptional today as it was hundreds of years ago.
